Steve retired in May of 2021 after a long and distinguished career over more than four decades. He was dedicated to helping clients pursue their goals and provide for their families by developing comprehensive financial plans and well-executed estate plans.
Steve began his career in 1980 as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch in Lafayette, Louisiana. In 1986 he joined Paine Webber as Branch Manager of the Lafayette office. In 1989 he was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President Louisiana Complex Manager and moved to New Orleans. In 1997 he was offered and accepted the position of First Vice President Branch Manager for the New Orleans office of Prudential Securities, which became Wells Fargo Advisors. In 2018 Steve, Alan Moore, and his son Stephen joined Raymond James to form Duncan Moore Wealth Management.
Steve holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute of Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.
Steve is a board member of Crescent City Tigers, a member of the LSU Alumni Association, and a supporter of LSU Athletics and Academics.
Now that he is retired Steve has more time to spend with his wife Jane, their three children, and two grandchildren.
