David E. Thomas Jr.
Mr. Thomas has more than 30 years of investment and merchant banking experience and has advised companies across a broad range of industries with regard to capital formation, acquisition and divestiture strategies. From 2000 through 2001, Mr. Thomas served as interim chairman and CEO at Safety-Kleen Corp. (NYSE-SK), a $1.7 billion environmental and industrial services company, during its restructuring. Prior to that, he served as head of investment banking at Raymond James & Associates, Inc. (an NYSE-member ﬁrm) and as head of mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Thomas graduated from Emory University, earning JD and MBA degrees with distinction, and from the University of Richmond, summa cum laude. Mr. Thomas is co-chairman of Event Photography Group, Inc., chairman of Nielsen BioSciences, Inc. and Sirchie Acquisition Company, LLC. Mr. Thomas also serves on the board of Salon Lofts Group, LLC and the Capital Markets Committee for Raymond James. Mr. Thomas was previously a Director of Reynolds Smith & Hills, Inc.
Gene J. Ostrow
Mr. Ostrow has more than 30 years of experience as a senior corporate executive and director of growth companies. In various capacities, he has assisted in building signiﬁcant business enterprises through extensive capital formation and acquisition strategies. He was co-founder and former CFO of NationsRent, Inc. (NYSE-NRI). Mr. Ostrow was formerly CFO and head of business development of OHM Corp. (NYSE-OHM), an industrial and environmental services company, as well as a former co-head of mergers and acquisitions at Raymond James & Associates, Inc. Prior to that, he was senior manager at KPMG. Mr. Ostrow graduated from the University of Albany and is a certiﬁed public accountant. Mr. Ostrow is Chairman of Salon Lofts Group, LLC and serves as a director of Event Photography Group, Inc., chairman of Nielsen BioSciences, Inc. and Sirchie Acquisition Company, LLC.
Prior to joining Raymond James Capital in 2003, Ms. Ford spent eight years as an event/training coordinator in the retail sales area of Raymond James & Associates, Inc. where she was responsible for the design and coordination of financial advisor training and Firm Element Continuing Education.
