Barry, the founder of Evans Financial Group, has been helping clients with their financial, estate, and investment planning throughout his career. He is a graduate of Miami, University, Oxford, Ohio and received the CLU® designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Barry has served as president of numerous industry related organizations in Cincinnati, including the International Association for Financial Planning, the Society of Financial Services Professionals, and the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council.
He has also served leadership roles for numerous community and charitable organizations including: Chairman Emeritus, The Bankers Club, Trustee, Cincinnati State Technical & Community College; Chairman, Linton Chamber Music Series, Chief of Box 13 Associates, and President of the Cincinnati Fire Foundation. Other service-oriented memberships have included the Rotary Club of Cincinnati, the Investment Committee and Board of Trustees at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church; the Tin Roof Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, both at state and regional levels. He is the founder and president of the Cincinnati Fire Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation that supports the Cincinnati Fire Department.
Barry Served as a Captain in the USAF including a tour of duty in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star and later the Air Force Commendation Medal. He is listed in Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in Finance & Industry.
For recreation, activities include, fly fishing, woodworking, photography, amateur radio (AB8WI) and shooting sports.
