A Certified Financial Planner^™ practitioner and Financial Advisor, Chris helps clients with comprehensive wealth management, and specializes in financial planning, estate planning and portfolio management. His goal is to provide big picture advice to help clients manage and preserve their wealth for the next generation.

Dependable and objective, Chris is a trusted partner to the families he works with. Joining Raymond James in 2018, he appreciates the firm’s reputation of putting clients first and the ability to provide objective advice free of influence from a bank holding company.

Prior to Raymond James, Chris was part of Wachovia Securities (which later became Wells Fargo Advisors), where he most recently held the role of Vice President and Investment Officer as a Discretionary Portfolio Manager.

Prior to working in the financial services industry, Chris was a class A PGA Golf Professional and worked at the Country Club of Asheville for six years. A graduate of the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa, Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Chris is an active member and former President of the Asheville Rotary Club. Chris is an active member and current Chairman of the Finance Council at St. Eugene Catholic Church, and is a board member of the North Asheville Little League.

Born in Duluth, Minnesota, Chris was raised in northern Wisconsin and spent his middle school years in Iowa before returning to Wisconsin to graduate from high school. He met his wife, Brooke, while at college, and they have lived in Asheville since 2003 – now with a son, Luke, and daughter, Taylor. Chris enjoys being involved in community youth sports, as well as coaching his son’s baseball team.

Chris enjoys golfing, fly fishing and spending time with his family. He’s an avid sports fan, rooting hardest for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Chris is a strong supporter of the community, volunteering and fundraising for the University of North Carolina Asheville’s athletic programs.
