Scott Jones brings his passion and experiences in the retirement services industry to the E&M Consulting team. He has spent the last several years assisting plan sponsors and investment committees managing their fiduciary responsibilities pertaining to qualified retirement plans. Additionally, Scott has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (or AIF®) professional designation from Fiduciary 360. He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. Scott holds the following licenses: Series 7, Series 6 & Series 63. Scott is also registered as an Investment Advisor Representative.
Scott is recognized by Raymond James as a leader in retirement plan consulting by his position on the Retirement Plan Advisory Council. The advisors at E&M Consulting serves as a trusted advisor to over 50 business owners and executives who are responsible for more than 30,000 employees nationwide. E&M Consulting also manages the private investments of more than 145 families.
As a graduate of Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio, Scott began working in the retirement services industry with Wachovia Retirement Services in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2008, he joined Oswald Financial, Inc. a division of The Oswald Companies located in Cleveland, Ohio where he held the title of Senior Consultant. He joined Raymond James in 2011 as Associate Vice President, Investments of E&M Consulting. Scott is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Cleveland State University.
Scott resides in Macedonia, Ohio with his wife Michelle and their daughter Genevieve. He and his family attend St. Barnabas Parish Family and Scott is a member of the Parish Finance Council. During his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, watching and playing soccer, golfing, and follwing all Cleveland sports teams.
