Shepard is from Glen Allen, Virginia and is a current senior at Christopher Newport University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance which he will earn upon graduating in May. During his time at CNU, he has been actively involved across campus, including his work with the Captain’s Educational Enrichment (CEE) Fund, CNU’s student-ran investment fund with over 600k in assets, serving as a Portfolio Manager where he oversaw and managed one of the two portfolios analyzing investment opportunities. He also has held several leadership roles serving as the President of his fraternity, Vice President of Internal Affairs for the Interfraternity Council (IFC), and Vice President of the Club Golf team. In addition, Shepard has also worked as an intern for the Office of Alumni Relations for the past three years. Outside of academic and campus involvement, he enjoys spending his free time playing golf and pickleball, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
