Wayne dedicates himself to helping clients determine what they want their money to do for them. Applying his 30-plus years of industry experience, he guides his clients as they evaluate and establish investment strategies designed to support their retirement needs. “It’s my job to listen to my clients and understand their unique needs, goals and wants. It’s also my job to help them use their wealth to create the lives they want for themselves,” he says.
One of Wayne’s greatest priorities is helping clients develop holistic financial plans that enable them to pursue their dreams and manage their risks. “I want them to have the confidence that comes with having a personalized financial plan,” he says. To do this, he carefully listens to their needs and empathizes with their concerns. Being an advisor is more than just a job to Wayne; it’s his passion. And he hopes his clients view him as a trusted family friend.
Wayne officially joined the financial field in 1988 by accepting the role of banking center manager at Crestar Bank, where he was later promoted to financial advisor. In 1998, he joined Merrill Lynch/Banc of America Investment Services as a senior advisor. Over 20 years later, he joined Raymond James in 2019, seeking to offer his clients first class investment advice and financial planning without any distractions.
Wayne currently applies his decades of experience, including his Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM and Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor designations, to serve a varied clientele. He specializes in helping upcoming and current retirees determine income sources, long-term care options and disability and life insurance to help them enjoy the peaceful retirements they deserve.
A lifelong resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, Wayne enjoys traveling, photography and spending time with his children, Ryan and Lindsay, and his two grandsons. He’s also a strong supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
