John Williams,
CIMA®
President, Williams Wealth Management
Financial Advisor, RJFS
As president of Williams Wealth Management and a financial advisor with Raymond James, John Williams specializes in guiding clients through comprehensive wealth management. He helps his clients with financial planning and portfolio management, collaborating with estate attorneys and CPAs to deliver cohesive, tailored strategies that align with each client’s values, goals and long-term aspirations.
John’s primary focus is on helping high-net-worth individuals accumulate, preserve and distribute wealth, whether to fund retirement needs or to support legacy planning. He believes his clients appreciate his empathy and integrity, which enable him to guide clients through life’s challenges – whether they’re facing a job loss, health crisis, or the loss of a loved one. His goal is to ensure clients feel supported, heard and understood, reduce their anxiety and help them gain confidence in the planning process and make informed decisions.
John began his career in 1996 and joined Raymond James just before the financial crisis of 2008, choosing the firm for its client-first culture, independence and fiscally conservative values. He has built his practice on those same principles, emphasizing long-term relationships and client-focused service.
Originally from Indianapolis, John lives in Fishers with his wife, Andrea. They have two sons, Jacob and Benjamin. John enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and is knowledgeable about firearms as part of his hobby. He’s active in his church and loves spending time with family and friends. In his free time, you’ll often find him cheering on Indianapolis’ professional sports teams.
