Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®)
Katie Parkins has attained the prestigious CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. A financial advisor who has been awarded the Certified Financial Planner® professional certification has demonstrated skill in analyzing and developing personal long-term financial strategies, and has completed hundreds of hours of rigorous financial planning courses. Katie Parkins adheres to the CFP Board’s code of ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence.
Wealth Management Specialist™ (WMS™)
Katie Parkins, Kelli Popp and Dawn Braun have completed the Wealth Management Specialist Certificate Program, a curriculum that includes the wealth management process, time value of money principles, measurement of risk and return, asset allocation process, investment strategies, investment taxation, insurance products in wealth management, business ownership and planning, retirement planning considerations and estate planning considerations. Certificants also sign a code of ethics declaration.
Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®)
John Williams has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst© (CIMA©) designation. CIMA© professionals have the advanced investment management knowledge necessary to fully serve affluent clients and are dedicated to elevating their practice through education, experience, examination and the highest standards of ethics.
They understand the financial complexities and risks that come with being in a high tax bracket, are well-versed in modern concepts of investment advice, and are educated to understand how your individual investments work together. They apply this knowledge to analyze and select the investments that make the most sense for your personal situation.
Earning a CIMA© designation requires three years of experience in investment management consulting and completion of the demanding educational program put forth by the CIMA© board. To maintain this designation, CIMA© professionals must adhere to a rigorous code of professional responsibility and complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years.
These skills, along with a commitment to advanced education, help enable them to provide you with the level of investment guidance you not only need, but deserve.
Certification in Long-term Care (CLTC®)
Kelli Popp has earned the Certification in Long-Term Care, which focuses on the discipline of extended care planning. It provides professionals the critical tools necessary to discuss the subject of longevity and how it affects their client's family and finances. Students learn how to mitigate these consequences by developing a plan designed to protect their clients and their families.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) is the owner of the certification marks “CIMA®” and “Certified Investment Management Analyst℠.” Use of CIMA® and/or Certified Investment Management Analyst℠ signifies that the user has successfully completed The Institute's initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for investment management professionals.
Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) is the owner of the certification marks “CPWA®,” and “Certified Private Wealth Advisor®.” Use of CPWA®, and/or Certified Private Wealth Advisor® signifies that the user has successfully completed The Institute’s initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for wealth advisors.
