As a financial advisor for FirstBank Investment Partners, he puts his clients’ needs first.

Specializing in portfolio management, retirement income planning and retirement plan solutions, he works with clients to design investment portfolios. Chris offers a comprehensive array of investment products tailored to his clients including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, unit investment trust, exchange traded funds and insurance. Whether you need growth or income, Chris will put you — and your needs — first.

Chris graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Over the course of his career, he worked with Wells Fargo Financial for 16 years and AmSouth Bank for 4 years as a business banker. In 2008, Chris received his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and joined Raymond James. He received the designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist from the College for Financial Planning in 2011 and joined FirstBank Investment Partners in January 2023. A firm believer in personal growth, Chris enhances his experience by attending continuing education courses at the Raymond James corporate offices in St. Petersburg, Florida, as well as around the country.

Chris takes pride in community involvement. He has been a member of the Waynesboro Lions Club since 1996 and is a member of the Florence Civitan Club. He is actively involved in fundraising efforts for the Butterfly Foundation, serving on their Advisory Board.

Chris resides in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Tammy, who is retired from the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. They have three adult children, Austin, Allyson and Elizabeth, and two granddaughters, Laura Beth and Vivian. When he is not working with clients, he enjoys deer hunting, football, babysitting and travel.
