Katie works with business owners, individuals, and families to help them make confident financial decisions through every stage of life and business. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), Katie specializes in helping business owners think beyond investments — coordinating wealth planning with business succession, exit planning, tax considerations, estate strategies, and long-term financial goals.
Katie believes financial planning should be both deeply personal and intentional. She is known for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to simplify complex financial topics into clear, actionable strategies. Whether helping a family prepare for retirement, guiding a business owner through a transition, or coordinating alongside attorneys and CPAs, Katie takes a comprehensive approach designed to align every piece of a client’s financial life.
Prior to joining FirstBank Investment Partners in 2018, Katie worked in the financial services industry beginning in 2016. She graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
Outside of the office, Katie teaches Scottish Highland Dancing and owns Katie’s Daffodils, a specialty flower farm focused on growing spring blooms. She also enjoys baking, gardening, travelling, hiking, and fly-fishing. Katie is a lifelong Middle Tennessee resident and enjoys spending time with her Dalmatian, Bonnie.
