Bill earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hanover College where he was on the football and track teams. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Bowling Green State University. He is a Registered Representative who has passed the Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 24 examinations, and holds both IN and OH State Insurance Licenses.

Bill lives with his wife, Brandie, and his daughters, Emma and Georgia, in Perrysburg. He is involved with Perrysburg Schools Performance Audit Team, Swanton Area Chamber of Commerce, and North Cape Yacht Club (LaSalle, Michigan). When he is not sailing on Lake Erie, Bill spends most of his free time supporting his daughters in their various sports, orchestra events, and academic pursuits.
