Chad E. Henry, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, AAMS®, AIF® lends his clients over sixteen years of experience in the financial services industry. Chad works with families, individuals, and business owners by helping them work toward their financial dreams. His team offers a solution centered process focused on risk management, income planning, tax efficiency and holistically covering a 44 point retirement readiness check list. We offer our clients a multi-family client approach where we quarterback the collaboration between CPA’s, attorneys, insurance agents, charitable gifting experts and our finance team.
Chad loves working with his family team mates, business partners and clients. He applies his life’s work to solve for their financial goals.
Chad’s areas of focus includes Estate Planning, Business Retirement Planning & Succession Planning, Retirement Planning, Portfolio Design / Investment Analysis, Retirement Income Planning / Withdrawal strategies and advanced investment strategies. Chad holds Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 securities licenses, and the Life and Health Insurance licenses. In addition, he is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist ®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Investment Advisor Representative. Chad serves as a Financial Advisor and the President and Founding Partner of Forthright Financial Planning. He serves clients at both our Sycamore, IL and St. Charles, IL locations.
Chad obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University in 1997. Chad lives in Genoa with his wife of 20 years, Mary Ann, and their three wonderful children. He always enjoys donating his time to coaching youth sports. Chad has coached baseball and softball in the past. Most of his spare time now goes to coaching youth football. He has so much passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring kids. Chad believes strongly in giving back to the local community. He has partnered with various professional athletes from the Chicago area to raise and donate tens of thousands of dollars to several local charities, over the last few years alone. He is a board member of three charity organizations, in addition to being an active member of the Sycamore, DeKalb, Genoa Chamber of Commerce and St. Charles Chamber of Commerce. When not volunteering, Chad enjoys Chicago Bears football games, Blackhawks hockey games, and is also a White Sox fan.
