Carolie Burroughs, MBA, CFA
Carolie entered the financial advisory profession because she wanted to use her professional experience as an investment manager and business consultant to help clients feel comfortable and confident working with an advisor. As an entrepreneur and veteran of the corporate world, she understands the importance of living a balanced life, and the overall impact stress can have on your health, relationships, career, and money. From her own personal experience, Carolie knows the benefit of having a trusted advisor in place when life changes and demands more of your time.
Carolie believes the path to achieving your financial and lifestyle goals is important—not only for success, but also for peace of mind. She knows that managing financial assets, providing financial advice for families, and preserving lifestyle and wealth can be time consuming and often confusing without the help of sound advice. Carolie guides her clients through a process which allows you to clarify and establish your goals, then tailors an investment plan using a prudent, thoughtful, and unbiased approach. This disciplined and repeatable process allows her to monitor and provide proper attention to your portfolio, giving you more time to do the things in life that bring you the most joy and fulfillment. Through ongoing communication, education, and support, Carolie encourages you to succeed in all of your endeavors.
Carolie began her career as an actuary before switching to investment management in 1998. She managed small cap equity portfolios at Aeltus Investment Management, in Connecticut, and real estate equity portfolios at Madison Square Investors, in New York, for institutions. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Carolie provided business strategy and financial analysis services to small businesses through her own consulting firm.
Carolie received her B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut, and M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001, and was certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in 2014.
Carolie lived on the East Coast from Boston to Philadelphia before relocating to Fort Myers. Originally from Connecticut, Carolie enjoys living a more balanced lifestyle in Florida, and keeps herself up-to-date on the latest findings on health and wellness. She enjoys the beach, time with friends and family, and an occasional round of golf.
