A proud legacy of making a difference in people’s lives

Chris Diemer

First Vice President, Four Pillars Financial Planning Group
Financial Advisor, RJFS

As an advisor, Chris enjoys working with numbers and values the close relationships he has with his clients. Most of them have been working with the former Major League Baseball pitcher for more than a decade.

Chris was signed as a free agent in the big leagues after pitching at Seminole High School and pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers organization for a few years before retiring due to injury.

He then worked in the mailroom at Raymond James headquarters in St. Petersburg, sparking his interest in the financial services industry. He sought out Jon Knott’s grandfather, William McCracken, as a mentor to launch his career as a financial advisor. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2013, he worked as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo for nearly 17 years.

Though he was born in Indiana, west central Florida has been Chris’ home for many years. With a father in the Coast Guard, Chris and his family moved many times during his childhood before settling in the St. Petersburg, Florida, area in 1978.

The community he calls home is very important to him. He coaches Little League as well as an Amateur Athletic Union travel baseball team and is part owner-operator of Lotsa Lobster, a seafood market in Sarasota. Chris and Suzanne, who have four sons ranging in age from 11 years to 9 months, are both advocates for All Children’s Hospital, which touched their lives through the care it provided to two of their sons.
