Phillip Russell
Wealth Management InternPhillip Luke Russell is a sophomore at Austin Peay State University, studying Finance and Artificial Intelligence. He serves as an investment analyst for the university's student managed fund, which manages a portfolio worth more than half a million dollars. In that role, he participates in equity research and analysis, including research related to the nuclear energy sector. After graduating from high school, he worked in finance for a small local business before continuing his education.
This summer, Phillip began an internship with Frazier Allen, where he is helping implement artificial intelligence across his line of business. His academic and professional interests include the practical applications of artificial intelligence within financial services.
Phillip is dedicated to giving back. He works as a student ambassador for The Press, representing the organization in his community. Faith remains at the center of his life; as an active member of Lifepoint Church and member of the Finance and Operations team, he considers serving God his greatest passion.
A native of Clarksville, Tennessee, Phillip graduated from Rossview High School, where he captained the soccer team and earned Offensive MVP honors, experiences that shaped his leadership. He brings that same drive to his work as the founder of Crimson AI, where he builds custom operating systems and helps businesses adopt AI tools to optimize efficiency.
