Amanda joined the Freedom Street Partners team in 2021 as an Administrative Coordinator. Her role is essential to our team because she spearheads events that we host, which require impeccable attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage many tasks, often all at once. Additionally, she is the Executive Assistant to our Partners, Reed Sloat and Andrew Gregory, which also require her to focus her attention on our team's growth and recruitment efforts.
Amanda's service-oriented approach is evident in any scenario ranging from a casual conversation to an event she has planned. She aims to ensure that our organization is always represented with our best foot forward and each client has a positive experience. She genuinely enjoys listening to others and can pick up on even the smallest of details, even years later, that are impactful to others. Her priority is to make sure our clients and staff are heard and happy because she takes great pride in serving others.
Amanda has close ties to our team and previously worked for our CEO, Scott Danner, as his Senior Branch Office Assistant for more than 13 years at Edward Jones before Freedom Street Partners was formed with Raymond James. During her tenure, she was recognized twice with the Edward Jones Managing Partners Award for Branch Office Assistants, which is based on client satisfaction from more than 15,000 offices in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. In 2017, Amanda pursued her photography career and has since been recognized on a national level. Based on client reviews, she has won multiple awards through The Knot, an all-in-one wedding planning website, in the "Best of Weddings" category.
I was born in the Bronx, NY, and many people joke that this is where I must have gotten my ability to talk fast and use my hands when I'm talking, but I've spent the majority of my life in Virginia Beach, VA, which is also where I met my husband. I'm the proud wife of a Chief Warrant Officer, Dominic, who has served 22 years (as of 2021) in the United States Navy. Since we have been together, we have been through more than 13 deployments. I'm a military spouse advocate, and I'm frequently seeking new ways to be an asset to the military family community.
Dominic and I are doting parents to our two wonderful daughters, Maya and Addison. Maya is a competitive USAG gymnast, and Addison keeps us, along with many others, entertained with her sense of humor.
When I'm not at work, I am often still behind the camera capturing milestones for families. You can also find me at Orange Theory, typically trying to get a new personal record on the rower.
My family is, without a doubt, the center of my world. I love sharing the kitchen with my husband, eating delicious foods, drinking excellent wines and bourbons, and spending evenings with my family doing a game night or watching Marvel movies.
