Operations Manager, RJFS
Chris joined the Freedom Street Partners team in 2017 as a compliance analyst. As the leading member of the compliance department, he is responsible for ensuring that all offices are following the organization’s policies and procedures. Chris approaches his role with enthusiasm and confidence. Teamwork and communication are especially important to Chris and he aims to motivate and excite his peers to focus on improvement. He enjoys being part of a team where he feels valued and empowered to make an impact on the organization and in turn, impact the financial success of clients.
Chris has held a variety of positions that prepared him for his current role. Before joining Freedom Street Partners, he held a client-facing role as a client relationship specialist from 2015-2017 with Charles Schwab where he ran the day-to-day operations of the branch. This included assisting clients, approving business, and reviewing compliance in the office. He was also the operations manager for Lincoln Financial Securities from 2013-2015 and began his career in 2011 as a 401k specialist for Fidelity Investments. In 2011, Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Plymouth State University, where he was a member of the varsity baseball team. He holds Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 66 and life, accident and health insurance licenses.
My dad raised me and taught me that hard work will pay off in the end. I am proud of the work ethic he instilled in me and my commitment to maintain balance in my professional and personal life. I strive for balance through a healthy lifestyle, making sure I’m always learning and challenging myself, and keeping a positive attitude.
I grew up in Lebanon, New Hampshire, but now consider the Boston-area home. I live with my girlfriend, Rachael and our dog, Rusty. I have always maintained an active lifestyle and I am a huge Boston sports fan. I played NCAA Division III college baseball at Plymouth State University where I was a lefty pitcher and earned all-academic honors each year.
In the future, I hope to travel more. I’ve found that traveling can be a rewarding experience to learn about other cultures and ways of life. I have always wanted to visit Italy, probably because one of my passions is food.
In my free time, I enjoy working out, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and of course, playing or watching sports.
