Rob carefully assesses his clients’ individual goals, needs and risk appetite to customize a straightforward investment strategy and personalized financial plan for each. An active listener, Rob enjoys hearing about what’s happening in his clients’ lives, which in turn helps him make strategic planning decisions based on the information he gathers.
Rob enjoys working with multiple generations of the families he serves. He knows that those focused on retirement want to preserve their wealth so they can maintain their quality of life and someday leave a legacy for their loved ones.
Before joining Freedom Street Partners in October 2017, Rob was a financial advisor, field trainer, mentor and coach at Edward Jones. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Old Dominion University.
While I take my job as a financial advisor very seriously, my mom’s secret to life was to laugh often, which I always strive to do, particularly when taking a break from work. One thing I would really like to do in my free time is to learn how to play the piano well. I think it is a marvelous instrument and respect those who have mastered it.
I am originally from Suffolk, Virginia, but live in Carrollton today with my wife, Carrie, and children, Landon, Rileigh and Luke. When not serving my clients, I enjoy tennis, hunting, church and Rotary. I am a past president of North Suffolk Rotary, as well as an active member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
