Jeff was born in Kankakee, Illinois in 1965 and grew up here in the Ozarks. He graduated from Mtn Home High School in 1983, earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of Tulsa in 1988 and later achieved the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2001.
With a career spanning nearly four decades in financial services and investments, Jeff has developed deep expertise in helping clients achieve their financial goals, becoming a trusted advisor to them and their adult children.
He spent ten years with Schwab Advisor Services, where he excelled as a Business Development Officer in Houston, guiding investment advisors as they launched their own Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firms. His outstanding performance at Schwab earned him multiple awards.
In 2012, Jeff joined Tanglewood Total Wealth Management, a Houston-based RIA, serving as Sr. Wealth Advisor. There, he provided strategic guidance in retirement cash flow planning, tax and estate planning, and trust management. In April 2025, he transitioned to Financial Services & Investment Strategies Group to continue his work in the field back in his hometown.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff is deeply committed to faith and community service. In 2014, he earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from the University of St. Thomas and was ordained a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church in 2015, a lifelong commitment. Before returning to the Ozarks, he dedicated time to charitable organizations such as Magnificat Houses, Inc., serving as a House Chaplain and Advisory Board member. Jeff currently serves as a clergy member at St. Peter the Fisherman parish, his childhood spiritual home, and serves the poor through various service organizations.
Jeff and his wife, Terri, have been married since 1988 and are proud parents of three accomplished sons—two Eagle Scouts and a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.
