While earning his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado, A.J. interned at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney during the Great Financial Crisis of 2008–2009. This pivotal experience shaped his understanding of capital markets during a time of significant economic uncertainty and sparked a genuine passion for helping individuals and families feel more confident and secure in their financial futures.
Outside of work, A.J. enjoys spending time outdoors with his family - running, fly fishing, golfing, and skiing. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, he now lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife, Erika. Together, they are actively involved in their church, Woodman Valley, and are passionate about giving back through their support of local charitable organizations.
