Cole works with clients to identify and clarify their goals, and then creates the appropriate financial plan for pursuing them. His goal is to help clients feel confident and comfortable with all the advice they are receiving, from their investment portfolio to retirement planning.

Before Cole joined First Western Advisors in August 2005, he was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in business administration and finance from Weber State University, which he attended on a football and basketball scholarship.

Cole was a celebrated football and basketball athlete at Lehi High School, Weber State and Ricks College. He also played for the Utah Warriors in the National Indoor Football League.

He helped create and currently serves as president of the Utah Youth Football Conference, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which is one of the largest organized youth tackle football programs in America, according to USA Football. He also created the 501(c)(3) district for Lehi Youth Football. In addition, he serves as an assistant football coach at Lehi High.

Cole is from Lehi, Utah, where he lives today with his wife, Tara, and their children, Cammon, Creyton, Cala and Cree. In his free time, Cole enjoys hunting, fishing and riding horses.

Cole is passionate about his community and youth sports, specifically football and how it prepares boys to be men and productive members of society. He also devoted two years to serving on an LDS mission in Santiago, Chile.
