Before joining Raymond James as a Financial Advisor, Grant worked at UBS Financial Services for 7 years, where he served as a Wealth Advisor and Vice President of Investments. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President with Merrill Lynch.

Grant is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. His highest degree is a Masters in Business Administration where he graduated with Academic Honors. He has additionally completed other degrees and certifications both in USA and South Africa. A firm believer in continuing education, Grant enhances his experience by constantly seeking additional education.

Grant takes pride in community involvement. Grant currently serves as the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Togo. He is the Emeritus Special Envoy for Diaspora Affairs for the African Union, which represents the fifty-five African nations, and Emeritus Vice Dean of the Los Angeles Consular Corps, the second largest Consular Corps in the world. Gochin is actively involved in Jewish affairs, focusing on historical justice.

In the past he has served on very many Boards and charities including the Survivor Mitzvah Project, World Union for Progressive Judaism, Association of Reform Zionists of America, and others. He is internationally philanthropically involved. He is responsible for having launched a West African project honoring Hero's of the South African Liberation movement.

Grant is the author of Malice, Murder, and Manipulation: One man's quest for truth, published in 2013.
