AJ Gallego began his career with Raymond James in 2017, interning at his father’s practice in Oyster Bay, New York. Observing firsthand the value of long-standing relationships built on genuine care and trust inspired AJ to pursue a career centered on putting clients first. That foundation continues to shape his approach today as he works with individuals and families to clearly define their goals and build thoughtful strategies to pursue them with confidence.

Prior to joining our office in Oyster Bay, AJ spent nearly four years at Raymond James headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, within the Asset Management Services department. In this role, he served as an internal consultant and product specialist, providing research-driven insight on investment managers and portfolio construction to support long-term financial planning.

In 2026, AJ earned the prestigious Certified Financial Planner^® (CFP^®) certification, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and comprehensive financial planning. This designation reinforces his dedication to delivering thoughtful, fiduciary focused guidance tailored to each client’s unique goals.

A native of Long Island, New York, AJ earned both his bachelor’s degree in finance and his master’s degree in finance and investment management from Sacred Heart University. He holds his Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses.

Outside of the office, AJ enjoys spending time with family and friends, following New York sports, staying active outdoors and traveling with his girlfriend, Geanella.
