Alex has spent the past 25 years providing investment insights to his clients, acting as a filter to deliver the education that he believes is needed to help a client make long-term planning decisions. He then uses that insight to carefully analyze and evaluate securities in order to select just the right investments for his clients’ customized financial plans. As a well-versed financial advisor, he specializes in professional estate and retirement planning, asset management, wealth management services, investment planning and tax-efficient strategies.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2014, Alex held high-level roles with some of the financial industry’s leading firms, most recently as a senior vice president and branch manager at Stifel Nicolaus. He also serves as branch director of the Gallego Financial Group of Raymond James, working closely with his wife, Rosemarie. Alex is fluent in Spanish, graduated from the American Intercontinental University School of Business, and then went on to earn the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Native New Yorkers, the Gallegos live in East Norwich with their children, Natalie, AJ and Anna. Alex is committed to helping make the Oyster Bay community a better place to live and work by supporting local business and cultural activities. He has actively volunteered with the Long Island Fight for Charity and as a coach for the Locust Valley Bayville Soccer Club. Alex is currently serving as chief warrant officer of the 11th Regiment USV-A Honor Guard providing military funeral honors. Additionally, Alex is a past NCOIC/unit commander in the New York Military Reserve NYG 88th Brigade, a past president of the Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce and a public notary
