Combining an enjoyment of helping people with a keen interest in finance, Harrington has made a successful career doing two things that bring both professional satisfaction and personal fulfillment to his life. Always one to seek excellence in serving his clients, Harrington has achieved the designation of Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM – the nation’s original and well-respected designation for providing financial advice to high-net-worth clients.
Harrington entered the financial services industry in 2002 when he joined UBS Financial Services. In 2006, he left UBS to open a retail office in Charleston for Morgan Keegan, which merged with Raymond James in 2012. He attended the College of Charleston, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a minor in finance. Harrington holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and licenses for life, accident and health insurance.
Harrington is a native of Charleston, where he lives today with his wife, Laurens. The couple has two children and attends St. Michael’s Church. Harrington is active in the community and has served as past president of the St. Andrew’s Society, Charleston, served as governor of the Society of Colonial Wars in the state of South Carolina and serves on the board of the Charleston Museum. For recreation, Harrington enjoys fishing, shooting sporting clays and hunting.
