Reece Thompson
Financial RepresentativeReece, a Cartersville, Georgia native, returned to his hometown to begin his career in wealth management at Raymond James in 2023. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in April 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
While at Jacksonville State, Reece was recognized for his leadership and community involvement, receiving the 2022 JSU IFC Man of the Year award. He also gained valuable work experience as an accountant at a property management firm.
As a financial representative at Raymond James, Reece play a crucial role in guiding clients along their financial journeys. He understands the importance of long-term financial planning and is dedicated to working with clients to develop financial plans and portfolios that align with their unique goals. Reece is a trusted resource for both clients and the team, focused on providing exceptional support with financial planning, investment management, and retirement strategies.
Reece plans to further his education by starting graduate school in the fall and pursuing his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. He is committed to continuously learning and expanding his knowledge to stay at the forefront of the financial industry and provide the best possible advice to clients.
Outside of the office, Reece enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He also fosters a diverse range of interests, including whitewater kayaking, golf, fishing, and reading. Reece is a member of Sam Jones Methodist Church and finds his community involvement a rewarding way to connect with others while supporting local initiatives.
