Dave has been a financial advisor since 1993, having been associated with major brokerage firms before establishing Goins Wealth Strategies in 2009. He is a US Naval Academy graduate and served eight years as a naval officer. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations as well as life, health and variable annuity insurance licenses. Dave is an Investment Adviser Representative with Raymond James Financial Services and a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner*.
Service, competency, experience and ongoing education are indispensable components of the relationship Dave believes he shares with clients. Working with successful families and professionals, he has developed and refined a process that puts all the financial puzzle pieces together for clients as their lives unfold and needs evolve.
Dave is the chair of the Memorial Health Foundation board of directors and past president of the Columbus chapter of the US Naval Academy Alumni Association. He previously volunteered for the Admissions Office of the US Naval Academy, providing information, mentoring and conducting admissions interviews with Columbus-area candidates to the Naval Academy.
Dave's wife, Teresa, is an education administrator and enjoys her animals and cut flower garden at Orchard View Farm. They are proud parents of two adult children, Kyle and Regan.
