Claudia Ortega is the Practice Manager for Satterwhite, Blackwood and Cannon, bringing over 12 years of experience in the financial industry and two years in the securities field. She leads the operational and strategic functions of the practice, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and advisors, and is committed to excellence, trust, and long-term partnership.

Claudia holds her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, and her approach blends precision with empathy—ensuring every client interaction is handled thoughtfully and with care. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she connects with a broader range of clients, helping ensure language is never a barrier to receiving personalized, high-quality financial guidance.

With a strong foundation in operations, compliance, and client service, Claudia drives efficiency, supports team growth, and upholds a high standard of client satisfaction. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships and delivering service that reflects the practice’s values of transparency and integrity.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Claudia relocated to Greenville, North Carolina in 2012 and quickly immersed herself in the local community. She currently serves as an Ambassador for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, a Board Member for the Greenville Jaycees, and Secretary of the Board for The Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge—reflecting her dedication to making a positive impact both professionally and personally.
