Peter J. Gutekunst, CFP® has been educating and helping clients implement sound financial strategies since 1994. He specializes in working with individuals and families who wish to manage their financial resources to sustain an enjoyable lifestyle before and throughout retirement. With a thorough background and knowledge in retirement account regulations, Social Security claiming strategies, as well as longevity planning, Gutekunst educates and assists in the accumulation and income distribution phases of retirement assets, while building strategies to preserve and pass on a legacy.

Following a process Gutekunst designed called My Financial Bridge, he focuses on evaluating and monitoring the "whole financial picture." Clients are assisted in clearly identifying goals and then implementing a well-defined plan. He helps execute a course of action designed to keep those near and in retirement on a path of making well-informed decisions while avoiding costly emotional mistakes.

Peter contributes monthly to the Age Has No Season section in the full group of Montgomery Newspapers such as the Ambler Gazette and writes the blog at My Financial Bridge.

Gutekunst is a combat decorated Marine Corps veteran of Operation Desert Storm and continues his support of military service and veteran affairs through numerous Philadelphia Area events. Peter also serves as chair for the Advancement Committee of Liberty Lutheran Services and has volunteered at Liberty affiliate Artman Lutheran Home over the past four decades.

Peter, his wife Cherie, and three children Ally, Zach and Jake, reside in Maple Glen and are actively involved in the Horsham Township Community.
