All winners must be from one of the following counties: Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk or Sarasota. Out of more than 100 nominations, 13 were selected. 3 – The ThinkAdvisor Luminaries awards aim to celebrate the achievements of advisors, industry executives, teams, RIAs, broker-dealers, asset managers and other firms by showcasing their achievements in four key areas, including Diversity & Inclusion, Thought Leadership, Executive Leadership and Dealmaking/Growth. 4 – The Top 100 Gamechangers award recognizes 100 inspiring people who are helping to change the game for LGBT+ diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) across the global financial services industry. Nominations are open to the public and are then selected by the LGBT Great Committee based upon a score with a rating framework based on demonstrating a consistent involvement in diversity, equity and inclusion work, evidence their notable contributions and achievements, and demonstrate how they have inspired others. 5 – PFAN (Pride Financial Advisors Network) Beacon Award: The 2021 Pride Financial Advisors Network Beacon Award is an internal recognition given to an associate or financial advisor who has demonstrated leadership or support of the Pride Financial Advisors Network and the LGBTQ+ financial advisor community. Submission requests go out to the Members of the Pride Financial Advisors Network (PFAN), the individuals with the most votes get reviewed by the PFAN Advisory Council Members and they choose the award finalist. In 2021, 3 advisors were nominated, and 1 advisor was chosen as the finalist.
