In June of 2020, Raymond James launched the Raymond James Pride Financial Advisors Network. This new business resource group is dedicated to the support of Raymond James clients and financial advisors who identify within and serve the LGBT+ community.
With the support of our Raymond James Advisor Inclusion Network team, the national roll out of this new business resource group was led by Founders and National Co-Chairs, Thomas Hake and Marta Shen as they hosted the inaugural “Business of Pride” symposium in June of 2021.
Held at the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art in St. Petersburg, Florida, the symposium brought together Raymond James financial advisors from across the globe and was held concurrent to St. Pete Pride, the largest Pride celebration in the State of Florida. Attendees had their first in-person opportunity to share best practices and to see, firsthand, the growing resources and support that Raymond James offers to LGBT+ clients and their allies.
This new network is also working closely with the Raymond James Pride Inclusion Network, the employee resource group for Raymond James support associates in our St. Petersburg home office, and our Dearborn, Michigan, Memphis, Tennessee and Denver, Colorado support centers.
