Analytical and detail oriented, Erik serves as our senior team member in charge of developing and implementing our investment strategy. With his institutional experience and distinction as a Chartered Financial Analyst®, he provides a high degree of professional investment management.
His objective is to provide sufficient investment return to meet the goals of our clients, while remaining within their acceptable tolerance for risk. He is adept at balancing this complex undertaking with an ability to answer questions our clients have about their investments in clear, understandable language. His thoughtful analysis, delivered with a human touch, impacts our clients positively on a daily basis.
Erik joined the team in 2000, moving with us to Raymond James in 2016. Earlier in his career, he worked as a fixed income trader and global fixed income portfolio management team member at prominent Wall Street firms that include UBS, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse Asset Management and the Intercapital Division of Dean Witter. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Vermont.
Originally from the Rome, New York area, Erik moved to South Burlington in 1983 and today lives in Ferrisburgh, Vermont, with his wife, Sue, and children, Jackson and Ella. In person, Erik is funny, unassuming and thoughtful. He is an accomplished guitar player, an active leader in youth sports and has served as an advisory board member to Prevent Child Abuse Vermont.
