Following in her father, Leon’s, footsteps, Tara is proud to be part of a business that helps people and organizations pursue their financial goals. She enjoys the fact that clients become friends and values the many relationships that span generations. Because taking care of clients and their families is of paramount importance to Tara, she stresses the necessity of maintaining a strong and vital firm for generations to come.

Tara attended the Centenary College of Louisiana where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, and Masters of Business Administration. She also attended LSU’s graduate school of banking. In order to serve clients of the firm, she has attained Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses.

Her career in finance began in 1998 at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith, Shreveport, as a registered client associate. In 1999, she joined AmSouth Bancorporation’s commercial real estate team before transitioning into mortgage banking. She later joined Citizens National Bank, Bossier City, and served on both the executive management team as well as the asset/liability committees. Then, moving back to the investment side of the business, she joined Merrill Lynch/Bank of America in 2010 where she served as a private banker until joining with Raymond James where today she serves as a Financial Advisor.

Tara was born in Anaheim, California, but grew up in Shreveport, where she lives today. A competitive tennis player, she is a member and past president of the Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club. She is also a member of the Independence Bowl Foundation, whose mission is to attract and provide quality, nationally recognized football competition oriented to the Ark-La-Tex region, in order to enhance economic growth in our communities.
