    Operations Manager

With 20 years’ experience in Financial Services, Lisa serves as our Operation Manager and oversees our compliance needs. She began her career with Merrill Lynch in Jupiter, Florida, eventually servicing High Net Worth individuals on a select team in their Palm Beach office. Upon relocating to Virginia Beach, VA in 2001, Lisa earned her commodities license and worked on a specialized team in the Merrill Virginia Beach office, where she met Josh and Jack. In 2003, Lisa accepted the opportunity to join the management team of Smith Barney for Hampton Roads and Elizabeth City, NC where she earned her supervisory licenses in the role of Branch Administrator. At Smith Barney she worked in Operations and Compliance, as well as training new employees. Over her 7 years at Smith Barney, she transferred to Newport News and then to Williamsburg, to lend her expertise in these former Legg Mason offices, through their merger into Smith Barney, and then their merger into Morgan Stanley. In 2010, a chance phone call with Josh led her to Hampton Roads Financial, LLC.

Lisa was born and raised in Southern Delaware, and graduated in 1997 from Gettysburg College with a BA in Political Science. She was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honors Society, and the Order of Omega, the leadership honor society for members of Fraternity & Sorority organizations. She was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, the national service fraternity, and of Alpha Xi Delta, the national social fraternity for women.

Lisa and her husband Colm live in Downtown Suffolk, with their 3 daughters. Colm is a Pilot with JetBlue Airways. Their oldest daughter is at Kings Fork Middle School, and their twins are at Hillpoint Elementary, where Lisa serves as the Vice President of the PTA.  In her free time, Lisa leads a Girl Scout troop for Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts, where camping is her favorite activity with the girls, and she helps organize the annual Cookie Classic 5K and 1 Miler to benefit the Girls Scouts Council of Colonial Coast.
