Carla is a financial advisor at Raymond James, where she develops tailored investment and financial planning strategies to help clients achieve their long-term goals. She takes a holistic approach—learning about each client’s career, lifestyle, philanthropic interests, and wealth planning needs—to deliver thoughtful, personalized advice rooted in trust and collaboration.
Carla began her career at Raymond James nearly a decade ago as an analyst on the Alternative Investments team. She was responsible for conducting due diligence and investment analysis of hedge funds and private equity funds for the firm’s high-net-worth clients.
She then joined Raymond James’ Corporate Development team, where she conducted qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing the financial services industry and evaluating potential companies for Raymond James to acquire. She collaborated with senior Raymond James executives across multiple business units in evaluating acquisition opportunities.
Carla holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designations, along with Series 7, 66, and insurance licenses. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Central Florida.
Active in the Tampa Bay community, Carla is involved with the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, WEDU PBS, and Women of Influence Committee. She lives in downtown Tampa and enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Taco.
