Patrick McMahon,

CFP® Partner, Harmony Wealth Partners Financial Advisor, RJFS

Patrick’s curiosity and thoughtfulness, coupled with his technical background and market experience, benefit his clients as they pursue their long-term goals and tend to their financial well-being.

Patrick applies a dedicated, personal approach to his work so he can understand his clients’ lives, concerns and dreams to help them make sound financial decisions. For his younger clients, this can include education and assistance in building healthy, sustainable financial habits while they build their wealth. For his pre-retirement and retired clients, he can work with them and their families to help preserve their wealth, build their legacies and create more resilient income streams.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2014, Patrick was a quantitative data analyst, macroeconomics researcher and commodities trader at Ramsey Quantitative Systems (RQSI), a global-macro systemic hedge fund. While there, he worked on the investment committee which recommended hedging strategies.

He was drawn to financial advising for its connection with people and the ability to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

In addition to earning a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Gatton Business School at the University of Kentucky, Patrick has continued with his education and has earned a designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Outside the office, Patrick enjoys playing tennis and golf, and spending time with friends and family. He and his wife, Meggie, have two young daughters, Mollie and Elle. Patrick was born and raised in Louisville, and currently lives in Anchorage where he is a city council member.
