He has attained the prestigious CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and a recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.
Matt’s career began in the financial services industry 30 years ago. In the ‘90s Matt temporarily stepped away from the industry to lead CPX, a regional delivery company (formerly RDS Delivery Service), as president. He later returned to the financial industry as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch.
In 2003, Matt joined Fifth Third Bank’s Private Client Group as a senior financial advisor and was recognized as the firm’s top producer in 2006 and 2007*. He later joined Raymond James in 2009 and has been recognized as a member of the Raymond James Chairman’s Council in 2015 and 2016*. He was previously a board member for the Associate of Corporate Growth.
A Cincinnati native, Matt stays active in his community as a member of the Cincinnati Cycle Club and the Provisional Golf Club, and as a volunteer for the Cincinnati Freestore Foodbank. He is also a member of Porsche Club of America. Matt is a cyclist, golfer and avid runner, having completed two marathons.
Matt lives in Cincinnati’s Hyde Park neighborhood with his wife, Kay. They have four children, Emily, Matthew, Elizabeth and Mary.
