Giving back to the
communities in which we live and work

With one simple action, you can spark something greater than yourself. We believe in the multiplying power of generosity. You'll find us giving back in countless ways, rolling up our sleeves and pitching in to support the organizations that help the communities that we serve thrive.

Ronald McDonald House - Raymond James Cares event.

Every year our service includes supporting a variety of charities including group activities such as preparing meals at the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton so that families visiting the Stollery Children’s Hospital will have one less thing to think about after a long day spent with their sick child.

Cooking with Soup Sisters to support the Victoria Women’s Transition House as one of the groups providing a “hug in a bowl” so that the women who land in the emergency shelter have a nourishing meal.

Picking up trash on the beaches of Victoria with the Surfrider Foundation to do our part to remove plastics and other debris polluting our oceans with the goal of improving the health of our marine ecosystem including the fish, seabirds, crustaceans, mollusks and marine mammals such as whales, sea lions, seals, and otters.

Volunteering our expertise and time is worthwhile too. Sharing knowledge with youth through Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta, April also serves on the Advisory Board of the Raymond James Canada Foundation, as an Advisory Board member of the Salvation Army BC Division and presides over the Estate Planning Council as President of the Victoria chapter.

We have been exceptionally blessed in our lives and in our business. We believe in investing our time, money and talents into the communities we serve. It’s part of who we are. Whenever I have faced a challenge in my life, I’ve always found that if I looked for it, there was always someone there lending a hand or showing me the way forward. Thanks to our years of hard word we are in the position to do that for others.
