Megan is dedicated to helping our clients have a sound financial plan for pursuing their varied and individual goals, whether it’s preparing for a comfortable retirement, building a new home, having funds for their travel adventures or gifting to their children or grandchildren.

As a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorTM Megan wants our clients to feel good about retiring and their life during retirement. She is thoughtful and thorough in determining if clients are financially prepared and what sources of income can be used to fund their future lifestyle. She will have discussions about Social Security and Medicare and coordinate tax planning with their CPAs. Once in retirement, she helps with important matters, such as cash flow, asset management, estate planning and providing a legacy for their loved ones.

“Our clients are like family,” Megan says. “We want them to succeed and feel confident in their financial situation. We love hearing about their lives and even receiving postcards from their travels. It feels good to have that type of relationship with our clients.”

Megan began her career in 2010 as a client associate with the Henderson Hutter Group at Merrill Lynch in New Orleans. In 2019, she transitioned with the team to Raymond James Financial Services in New Orleans. She graduated from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University with a Master of Finance degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in management with a focus on finance.

Megan is a New Orleans native, born and raised in Gretna. In her free time, she enjoys attending festivals, traveling, book clubs, trying new restaurants and spending time with her friends and family. She is also involved with her local church.

  • Q. What are your must-have travel items?
    Sunglasses and sunscreen. The sun really doesn’t like me.
  • Q. If you weren’t doing what you do today, what other job would you have?
    Flight attendant or pilot, for my love of traveling. I’ve been to more than 30 countries and visited more than half of the U.S. states.
  • Q. What’s the one thing that might surprise others about you?
    I’ve been skydiving.
