Emerson Brown is a 4th generation financial advisor in Chattanooga, TN. Emerson is well-versed in the importance of financial planning. He has extensive experience and expertise in developing and implementing financial strategies for retirees, business owners, and working professionals. He focuses on a wide range of financial planning disciplines, including investment portfolio management, retirement and estate planning, tax planning, net worth protection, and business insurance strategies.

Having earned his CFP® designation in conjunction with Northwestern University, Emerson is committed to the CFP Board to the fiduciary duty to act in clients’ best interests. As a CFP® professional, he has met the standard of excellence in financial planning through rigorous education, experience, examination, and ethical standards.

After graduating from Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN, Emerson attended Sewanee: The University of the South, graduating with a B.A. in History and Economics. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management, earning his MBA with a concentration in Corporate Finance. His past experience also includes working in corporate finance and financial consulting for two large 500 companies.

Emerson partnered with High Wealth Solutions of Raymond James because of their financial planning expertise and commitment to exceptional client service. He was impressed by the world-class technology that their team employs into their financial practice, which he believes greatly enhances their human interaction with clients.

When he’s not working, Emerson enjoys music, fishing, playing golf, reading, and spending time with his friends, family and bride. He is actively involved in the Chattanooga community, currently serving as a member of the board of directors and finance committee for the Chattanooga Zoo, and having served as Co-Chair for two years for a corporate organization’s United Way giving campaign. Emerson is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga.

Emerson holds his Series 7, Series 65, and Series 63 licenses, in addition to licenses for life insurance, long-term care, and annuities.
