Greg Hinkson,

Greg is president and CEO of Hinkson Wealth Management. He began his career in 1991 with a nationwide financial services company. The company was known for its training program and investment products. In 1993, he was recognized by the company as the No. 1 representative in the state of Michigan.

The following year, he started an independent practice that allowed him to offer unbiased representation, focused solely on his clients’ best interests.

He currently holds Series 6, 7, and 63 securities registrations and is an investment adviser representative with Raymond James. He also holds insurance licenses for life, long-term care and variable contracts.

In addition to these licenses and a business degree from Penn State University, Greg is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional who has taught university courses as an adjunct professor. He has been quoted by Morningstar Advisor magazine and named a Five Star Wealth Manager* thirteen years in a row by Hour Detroit Magazine. He was featured in a special section of the Wall Street Journal as a Five Star Wealth Manager and has been featured in Forbes Magazine.

Greg is married to Valerie and is the proud father of four children. They live in Oakland Township, Michigan, and are members of Woodside Bible Church. In his spare time, he enjoys reading about a variety of topics. In addition to finance, Greg enjoys books about history, religion, politics and holistic health. He also enjoys working out, skiing and traveling.
