Perry Holcombe,

AAMSTM Financial Advisor

With a deep commitment to authenticity and integrity, Perry brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to wealth management that reflects both his professional training and personal values.

Before joining his father’s practice, he began his career as a wealth strategy associate, where he gained foundational experience in client strategy and investment planning. However, he believes it was his years as a competitive hockey player that taught him resilience, teamwork and the importance of trust – all traits he applies to his role as an advisor today.

He earned his degree in financial planning from the University of Georgia and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation, underscoring a dedication to delivering informed, strategic guidance.

Perry’s passion lies in portfolio management, where he thrives on assembling diverse investment strategies to help clients pursue their goals. As an advisor, he’s driven to ease retirement anxieties through comprehensive financial planning, aiming to serve as a trusted resource and sounding board for his clients.

Holcombe Private Wealth of Raymond James serves a diverse clientele, including independent women, legal professionals, dual income and high earners as well as multi-generational family wealth. Perry believes that trust is the most valuable currency in financial advising, and he works tirelessly to earn and maintain it through every interaction.

Are you originally from Georgia?

Yes, I’m from Cumming, Georgia, and currently live in Smyrna, Georgia, with my spouse, Shannon.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I play ice hockey and ball hockey recreationally, and I also compete in the National Ball Hockey League, which adds a layer of challenge and camaraderie that I really enjoy. Golf and tennis are also part of my routine. Tennis especially, where I play in ALTA Men’s and Mixed Doubles leagues.

What kind of getaway makes you happiest?

My ideal vacation is an under-planned adventure. I want the thrill of exploring new places, trying new things and stepping outside my routine without the pressure of a rigid itinerary. It’s all about intentional flexibility.

Do you prefer using handwritten notes or the app in your phone?

Handwritten notes are my personal go-to. Whether it’s a quick reminder, a new idea or making a to-do list, the physical act of writing makes it feel more real and memorable.

What’s your definition of success?

Success, to me, means helping to guide others from the start to finish – not just in terms of achieving goals, but in helping them grow, overcome challenges and feel empowered along the way.
