Dedicated to providing outstanding support to her branch team, Melissa is also committed to helping educate and assist clients throughout their financial journey.
Before joining Horton Wealth Management, Melissa was a Senior Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones, where she also served in a regional leadership role for four of those years. Prior to entering the Financial Services industry, Melissa worked extensively in the dental services and insurance industry for over 26 years.
Born 15th of 16 children, Melissa grew up in Lexington, KY with her loving parents and siblings, where faith, teamwork and strong work ethics were modeled. In 1995, Charlotte became home and in 2001, Melissa and her family moved to Concord where she continues to reside. She is the proud mother of an adult son and two adult daughters, who also live in the area.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys cooking, hiking, volunteering in the church and for a local feline rescue, along with spending time with her friends and family.
