Ann is a partner in Hunziker & Associates and co-branch manager of the Raymond James Financial Services office in Lemont, Illinois. She is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and a graduate of the prestigious Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University, graduating magna cum laude.
As Gene Hunziker’s daughter, Ann ensures that the family legacy of serving clients will continue without interruption. She already serves the second and third generations of the family patriarchs that Gene established relationships with decades ago.
Ann has in-depth knowledge of financial planning processes, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance. She is dedicated to helping her clients set realistic expectations, define their goals, and have a clear plan in place for pursuing them. She holds Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses.
Her forte and focus is on investment strategy and portfolio management. On any given day, you will find her combing through reams of research, reading quarterly commentary of fund managers and conducting meetings with investment managers.
She designs the models, selects the investments, and actively and aggressively monitors their performance. She is a member of our investment committee and determines investment strategies for a variety of business and individual client accounts.
Ann brings a fresh energy and technological prowess to our team, and has engineered our state-of-the-art conference room where we host highly sophisticated client presentations and portfolio reviews.
In addition, she helps our clients with many aspects of their financial lives beyond just managing their investments, from paying bills to buying a new vehicle. She spends each day working with and meeting with clients, and collaborating with their attorneys and accountants on matters such as estate planning and tax strategies. She serves as a financial coach and educator to her clients to help them make smart decisions about all their financial matters.
Ann grew up in the Chicago suburb of Lemont and now lives in downtown Chicago with her dog, Harley.
