Roger Jee,
Managing Director Private Wealth Advisor
As a first generation American and the youngest of five children, I witnessed my parents work tirelessly, often exceeding 100 hours per week at our family-owned laundromat. Despite these long hours they never missed having dinner with their family and they made sure to give back to the community through the oldest Chinese Church in New York of which my father was a deacon. Their dedication and commitment to family and community instilled in me the belief that resilience, dedication to both your profession and family are essential in achieving financial and personal success.
Growing up in the laundromat, I loved working the cash register, mentally calculating change for customers. With savings from my allowance, my father purchased my first stock — 100 shares of American Telephone & Telegraph — sparking a lifelong fascination with finance and data analytics. This passion deepened at the Bronx High School of Science and later at Baruch, where my studies reinforced my love for financial analysis.
Finance, to me, is more than numbers — it’s an ever-changing landscape of challenges and opportunities. The complexities of mathematics combined with shifting financial conditions make every day a new adventure. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families navigate this evolving financial landscape. My goal is to craft personalized strategies that ensure financial confidence and long-term success.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Baruch College and hold the Private Wealth Advisor designation. Prior to Raymond James, I was affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors, C.E. Unterberg Towbin and Oppenheimer & Company. I reside in Westchester County with my wife, Loann, and our twin girls, Katelyn and Emma. Outside of work, I cherish time spent skiing and playing tennis with them — moments that remind me of the importance of balance and family.
Private Wealth Advisor is a designation awarded by Raymond James to financial advisors who have demonstrated mastery in anticipating and managing the expansive financial needs of high-net-worth individuals, families and organizations.
