Ivan G. Gordon,

Ivan wears many hats – team leader, client advocate, retention and acquisition manager and Wealth Management Specialist, focusing on portfolio construction and market strategy. His areas of expertise include financial planning, corporate pension plans, client development, and executive compensation and stock options strategies.

His goals for corporate executives, high-net-worth individuals and successful business owners he serves include helping them manage and preserve their wealth and having a plan in place for pursuing their long-term goals, while enjoying the journey along the way.

Pragmatic and committed, Ivan relishes the opportunity to build relationships with people who value advice, integrity and open communication. He is passionate about providing highly personal service and making sure the individuals and families he serves enjoy a positive experience.

Before joining Raymond James in 2009, Ivan served as a vice president of investments at Smith Barney. Prior to his career in wealth management, Ivan was one of the founding partners of ATS Professional Services, an executive search and consulting firm. While with ATS, he developed executive relationships with several large companies and emerging growth organizations, helping to develop recruiting and retention strategies for executive and upper-management professionals. Ivan earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, where he graduated with honors. While there, he was president of the Golden Key National Honor Society, a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Kappa Phi national honor societies, and the captain of the men’s soccer team.

Ivan is a member of the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association. Active in community organizations, Ivan serves on the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Development Council, where he and his wife are also members of their DreamCoat Society, which recognizes and supports patient care, teaching, research and advocacy. Ivan is also a friend of the Florida Theatre, a member of the San Marco Preservation Society and a member of the Jacksonville FC Soccer Club.

Originally from Philadelphia, Ivan lives in Jacksonville’s San Marco neighborhood with his wife, Jenn, and son, Eli. In his free time, he enjoys good wine, good food and good friends, playing in a men’s soccer league, traveling and spending time with his family.
