Jake joined Raymond James in 2022, most recently serving as a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager with Stifel since 2019.
Jake began his career in wealth management at Merrill Lynch in 2014. Jake serves a select set of families and businesses, designing customed-tailored strategies to address their unique goals and circumstances. In addition to traditional investments, Jake’s unique expertise in alternative investments outside the public markets helps clients further diversify and enhance their portfolios.
During college, he and a group of other California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo) students co-founded the biotechnology start-up, Applied Silver Inc. Here, Jake served as Chief Financial Officer and worked closely with seasoned Silicon Valley technology executives to help develop the company. Applied Silver Inc. has grown from a student project into a multi-million-dollar company based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jake earned a B.S.B.A with a concentration in Financial Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities).
Active in the community, Jake coaches Highland Park Youth Lacrosse and 3D Dallas Lacrosse, giving back to the sport that he has played nearly his entire life. He is also involved with the Bridge Lacrosse organization, which focuses on community development and education for underprivileged kids in Dallas through the sport of lacrosse. Passionate about food and wine, Jake can often be found frequenting the many great restaurants in Dallas. Jake and his wife, McKenzie, live in Dallas and are excited to have welcomed their first child in early 2022.
