Blake is a Financial Advisor at Hemenway & Krum Wealth Management Group of Raymond James. Since entering the financial services industry in the fall of 2019, Blake has developed a passion for building relationships with clients and helping them achieve their financial goals. He enjoys assisting individuals, families, and corporations with strategic portfolio management and comprehensive financial planning.
Blake graduated cum laude from Olivet College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Marketing. During his time at Olivet College, he played on the basketball team, serving as team captain and earning two-time All-MIAA selection honors. Blake then graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), a designation that reflects his commitment to providing comprehensive, client-focused financial planning at the highest standard of care. In addition, he holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, a life and health license, a variable life and annuity contract license, and is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist® (AAMS®).
Blake currently resides in Kalamazoo with his wife, Jenna, and their son, Kash. In his free time, he enjoys giving back to the local community and serves on the boards of both the Kalamazoo County State Bank and Pretty Lake Camp, where he also serves on the Finance Committee. Blake enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and running.
