Geoffrey A. Japchen Senior Vice President, Investments

Geoff's goal is and has always been to offer his clients sound and easily understood advise and guidance to help them pursue their financial goals.

He has a 34-year track record of providing holistic financial planning as well as investment advice and management. He devotes each day to serving the financial and investment needs of his high-net-worth clients, including business owners, corporate executives and retirees.

Geoff insists that a client service request is never allowed to go unanswered before the end of the day, and must be addressed by either phone or email. It's a true measure of the sense of duty he undoubtedly learned as an Eagle Scout.

Before joining Raymond James and establishing Japchen Wealth Management in September 2020, Geoff was a senior vice president at Wells Fargo Advisors in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

"I wanted to build my own practice, while still having the resources and benefits of a larger firm. I joined Raymond James because of it's reputation of excellence. It truly puts my clients first above anything else," Geoff said.

Geoff earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Penn State University. He attended on a full athletic scholarship in football and was part of the school's NCAA National Championship team in 1986.

Geoff grew up in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, and moved to Doylestown, Pennsylvania, in 1982. He graduated from Doylestown's CB East High School, where he was a standout athlete, in 1985. He was first team all-state as well as an honorable mention All-American in football, and first team all-state in track and field, throwing shot put and discus.

Today, he lives in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and has three sons, Christopher, Geoffrey and Gregory. In his free time, Geoff enjoys competitive fishing, fitness and spending time with his family and friends.
